Week 10

Hey everyone!! How are you? Week 10 is down and I can’t believe it. It is going by so fast! I don’t have a ton to write about this week, so I hope the pictures make up the difference!

This week was so fast paced! On Wednesday, Elder Warden and I had a lesson with Iris, and she told us that she wants to come to church! She is planning on coming this Sunday and praying to see if it’s right for her!

On Wednesday, we went to Broomall for a retraining, and it was great! We learned a lot about how effective Members are in missionary work. Afterwards, Elder Warden and I got all of our mail and packages, and it was like Christmas Day! Even though it was past Easter, we were so excited to get Easter packages and candy!

This week there was so much rain!! The trees were all shedding so much! There’s pictures of how much the trees dropped on the ground! There are also pictures of my Hotdog feast and a mountain of Spaghetti that I made. If we don’t eat with the members, those are my go to meals.

On Saturday, we got to eat with the Bishop! We went out to a Mexican restaurant with them, and it was so good! I had some bomb tacos, and loved the music haha! When Bishop and his Wife were looking for parking, Bishops wife told him to stop so she could hop out! She snagged a pretty cool picture of us Reading Elders, and apparently it resembles a photo of the Beatles. So now us four Missionaries are called “The Elders.” Mission jokes are funny huh? Lol Anyways!!!

We still have not been moved out of our apartment, but we are on the list. There are 2 sets of missionaries that can’t even live in their apartments right now, so they have priority right now over us.

I love you all so much and I am doing good. The work is slow, but man.. my companion and I working. every day. We have been learning a lot about hope, faith, and lots of patience. I hope you all are doing good and seeing all of the blessings in your lives. I pray for all of you every night, and I couldn’t do this without all of the support I have. Thank you all so much and I love you!
