Week 14!!!
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY EVERYONE!!
How are you guys? This week was awesome!
Hey Congratulations to everyone who graduated this last weekend, including a few of my cousins, and my friends at Spanish Fork and South Summit!! I’m so proud of all of you, and I hope you all enjoy your first summer as a graduate!!
This week was super awesome! We had our first all Spanish District Counsel, and we did not speak English the entire time! It was kinda tough to understand, but regardless, I got a lot out of it.
This week we also had exchanges with the Zone Leaders! It was so fun to go out with Elder Cebra and I learned so much from him!! We went finding, had a lesson on the Word of Wisdom, and met an investigator at the church for his Baptismal interview!
Iris and Lidianali are both progressing so much! We are teaching them both, and they both have come to church! I love sharing my beliefs and helping others learn about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Even if they never join our church, I still enjoy talking to people about religion. Almost everyone here in Reading is religious, and most of them have a belief in Jesus Christ. A lot of times we have a lot more in common than they expect. I love seeing their body language change from guarded, to curious and surprised!!
This week my companion and I had an awesome opportunity to serve! A member in the English Ward needed our help with his back yard, so we got to do some service with the English Elders (Elder Watts and Elder Close.) We worked hard for about 3 hours and by the end, his back yard was leveled and looking beautiful! Afterwards he bought us some Chinese food and we shared a message with him. I love going to this members house because he is constantly offering us water, soda, juice, food, crackers, and anything else. By the time we left, my companion and I had extra toothpaste, cotton swabs, and a case of water! We were so so grateful!!
This week has been a little harder just because I’ve been living with my companion for 8 weeks now. We find a lot of happiness in doing missionary work, so that is all we talk about and do. I am learning to love the work though and I am doing very well!
Thank you all so so much for your support. This week I have relied on your support more than ever. I feel your prayers and love more than you guys know. Please know how much I love you guys, and how much I appreciate your support. I know that you all will be blessed for supporting me, and I pray for you every night.
Today my companion are going to go shopping, clean the apartment, and do our laundry. I’m looking forward to being busy and preparing for my week.
I hope you all have a fantastic week and enjoy your Memorial Day! I’ll talk at you later!! Love you all!!!
