Week 20 (and a half)

Boom another week in the books everybody how are you all doing?? Today is our P-Day, and as I’m writing this I am driving home from the Philadelphia Temple!! We got to go today with Hermano Bernard Rodriguez and David Rodriguez (they’re not related..)

This week was really cool! It was really hot here in Reading, like 90s and humid!! And because we had to drop some of our investigators, we went finding this week! And let me tell ya, walking around in that heat was TOUGH!! I’m really glad I bought a bandana that I keep in my pocket!

On Tuesday, we had a super busy day and I want to tell you all about it! Tuesday morning we had “District Counsel” in Kutstown with only 4 Elders haha.. Then after district counsel, we went home and changed really fast into service clothes!!

Then we drove to West Reading to do some service! We filled up a few trucks and got really sweaty! Then we went home to shower and change really fast, because we took out a young man from our ward with us!!

We went over to Alex’s house, picked him up, and then went to David and Maria Rodriguez’ house!! Alex helped us share a really cool message from Alma 34:32 about the purpose of our life! Then we ate a late lunch with them (rice and chicken) and went to the Ortiz house!!

While at the Ortiz house, we taught all the kids a lesson about the 10 commandments. Then we taught a member a lesson about the priesthood. Next, we gave a blessing to Marieli who is now home and really prepared to hear the gospel!

Boom then once we finished all of that at the Ortiz house, we dropped Alex off at home! Then we went to the Pedroza’s house and ate dinner with them (rice and chicken!!) Afterward we shared a message about service and preparing for storms!

This day was packed full of missionary work, and it felt so good to just serve and be busy and tired!! Before my mission, if I was busy driving around to work or the store or wherever, I would not be near as happy as I am now. But now I can be just as busy and stressed and tired, and be happy about it!!

This week was awesome and we are really looking forward to some upcoming lessons! By the next time I email you all, we plan to have 6 people with a baptismal date!! We are going to work hard, and we will see what happens!

I love you all so much and I pray for you all each night. This work that I’m doing is really really important. If I may be bold, I would say it is the most important work on the earth! There are people that have not learned about Jesus Christ, his teachings, and his Atonement, and missionaries primary purpose is to invite people unto Christ to help them learn about these wonderful gifts. To any and all of you who support me; I am very grateful for your support. I could not be here without all of you keeping me in your thoughts and prayers!!

Have a great weekend, I’ll talk to you all on Monday!! I love you guys!!
