What's 9 + 10?

Uuuuuh 21? Yup that’s how long I’ve been out here! Hahaha for those of you that dont get that joke, no I do not need to go back to Kindergarten!!

Hi everyone how was your weekend!! I know you all just heard from me on Wednesday, but my P-Day for this week is already here! This weekend, we were so busy!! Boom heres what we did!

Friday: We woke up, studied, then went to an earlier lesson at 11:00 with Iris!! Iris is doing so so good! She loves reading Saints (A book about the history of our church,) the Doctrine and Covenants (A book scripture containing modern day revelations,) and the Pearl of Grest Price (Another book of scripture!) Iris also has loved learning about temples!! She wants to do visit the Philadelphia Temple sometime in the next month!!

Okay after that lesson, we went to the church for another lesson with Lidianali, Marieli, and Mimi! Normally, because there is no man in the home, we do our lessons out front on their porch! But because it is loud and full of distractions, we decided to invite them to the church for this lesson! In this lesson, we taught the Five steps of the Gospel of Jesus Christ: 1. Faith 2. Repentance 3. Baptism 4. The gift of the Holy Ghost 5. Endure to the end! We testified to them that they have begun already to enter this path back to heaven, and that their next step was baptism. We invited Marieli and Lidianali to be baptized!! And Marieli said yes!!! She is planning to be baptized on July 27th! Lidianali said she needed time to think about her decision, and we told her that is perfectly fine!

After this lesson, we did some contacting and finding, and then went to BIG KENS! A pizza shop in South Reading! We got a couple of cheesesteaks (Both of our first time) and they wereeeeeee mixed reviews! Unfortunately they were not authentic Philly cheesesteaks, but they were pretty good! My companion really liked his, but I just dont like the flavor of cheese.. Theres pictures in the photos email!

BOOM Saturday: We got up, did our planning and studies, and then went to do some service with the Pedroza family!
For those of you that dont know, Pennsylvanias rain storms are like 0 to 1000 to 0 in 30 minutes.. and because the water falls so much so fast, the drains can’t handle it all! The Pedrozas live on the bottom side of a mud hill, and so they always get flooded! Every time without fail!! So we cleaned up all of the sticks and leaves and debris, put some wood slats on their back yard hill, and dug a small canal where the water can flow off their property! Theres a picture included of the finished product and it is much more prepared for
those crazy rainstorms!

Then after that, we went home, showered, changed into church clothes, and headed over to the Stake center to help set up for a wedding reception! Jefry and Delilah Ortiz were sealed in the Temple, and we are so happy for them! So we went over to the stake center and decorated the heck out of this place. Boom 16 tables boom 120 chairs. Tablecloths? Yup. Seat covers? Mhm! Ribbons tied on the chairs? You betcha! Center pieces, curtains on the walls, food and desert stations? Done. I was so excited to help this project, and you can see the finished product!

But even more beautiful than the decorations was the reception! It was so amazing to see them and their kids all dressed in white enjoying this time with their family. They laughed, they cried, they partied, and it was a night to remember haha!

BOOM Sunday: it was awesome to go to church because for the first time, Lidianali, Marieli, Mimi, Llantoni, and Glorieli all came to church! The whole family came and got to feel the love of our ward! Marieli got to go to young women’s for the first time (class for girls 11-18,) and Mimi got to go to Relief Society (Class for the women) for the first time!!

Sunday we also got to eat an early dinner with the Inhof family! Hermana Inhof made us some amazing Tomales!! Then we took her 14 year old son Alex with us, and went to visit the Ortiz family, and David and Maria Rodriguez!! It was a great afternoon with Alex, and he is looking forward to serving a mission someday!!

Well that was my weekend! I had to leave out a few details but you guys can see them in the pictures haha! I love you all so much and I an so grateful for all you for me! I am going to go deep clean my entire apartment, so wish me luck!!! I love you have a fantastic week!

After searching the missionary handbook for about 10 minutes, Elder Cooper and I found that there is no rule prohibiting missionaries from dancing, so we decided to embrace the culture:
