Week 31

Tuesday, Elder Macrum (My trainee) had his first district counsel!! It was so cool because we got to watch the Prophet’s address to the young adults! The Spirit was very easy to recognize as he spoke about absolute truths.

Thursday we went over to Hermana Normas house and helped her with some last minute decorations! We made fruit baskets and moved some heavy totes into her car!

Saturday was a super busy day! In the morning we went to a wetlands wildlife area here in Vineland, NJ and did service! We moved a ton of rock onto the paths where it had eroded out from flooding. It was so beautiful but there are some HUGE SPIDERS IN THERE! Watch out yall..

Right after service, we went and got ready for Josés baptism! We got showered and in our suits, then filled the baptismal font in the church building. 

The baptism was really great. I was honored to baptize José! He had a big smile on the whole time, and after he said he felt really good and clean.

Sunday was Elder Macrums birthday!! We celebrated by working really hard! Once we got home we cooked a big cookie cake and he opened a card he got in the mail! My lil trainee is 19 years old! I’m so proud of him hahaha. He’s a really great missionary with a ton of good habits. He was so prepared to come out and work hard!

Today to celebrate my companions birthday, we went to Sunset Beach in Cape May on the Southwestern tip of Jersey! We also went to the zoo again and we got a couple pictures! 

I love you guys I hope you have a great week I’m really short on time (forgive any typography errors) but I am so so grateful for you all and all of your support. I am going to try and reply to more of your emails I haven’t been very good about that and I’m sorry.
