Week 35-The Floods Came

Well everyone it’s been a wet and dark week here in Jersey! But Elder Macrum and I worked our tails off!! We were so busy and we saw so much success! Let me tell you guys about it!

On Tuesday, Elder Macrum and I had exchanges in Atlantic City!! We worked super hard and had some incredible experiences! Then when we met at the apartment, Elder Macrum told me WE ARE GETTING A NEW COMPANION!! We are going to be in a trio and the Lord has trusted me to train another new missionary! I am so humbled and excited to meet this new missionary! He is going to be serving in Portugal, but will be with us in Vineland for a while until he gets his Visa!

On Wednesday we came home and went to a doctors appointment and translated for one of the people we are teaching! It was a really cool experience and I learned a lot of medical terms in Spanish!!

On Thursday, we did weekly planning and then did family history work with a recent convert! We are also going to the temple with him in a few weeks!!

This weekend, we did service and painted some park benches in a local park! Then we also picked up garbage by a local fishing site! We also had a conference and got to hear from two of the 12 apostles! M. Russell Ballard and D. Todd Christofferson gave a live devotional that we watched in our church buildings!! It was amazing!

Today, Elder Macrum and I went to Ocean City and had some fun walking on the boardwalk!

I love you guys so much and I am so grateful for your support! This mission is not easy, I am tired and hungry and tired.. but it is so worth it and I know that the Lord is appreciating my hard work. He blesses me 10 fold for the faith that I show through my actions!! I promise that Elder Macrum and I are being obedient and working hard, but we also have fun and include laughter into our daily lives!! HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!!
