Week 38 & 39: Woah

Woah. These two weeks were crazy!! We did so much let me catch you all up!!

Boom Boom so Tuesday the 5th we had our first exchanges! The Elders from Bridgeton, N.J. came to Vineland! I was still really sick, but the exchange went really good! I was with Elder Stanley, and Elders Macrum and Nelson were with Elder Baker! Then they stayed the night with us in Vineland and we cooked them treats and made sure they had a good time with us!

On Friday the 8th, we went to the temple with our recent convert Jose Luis! He loved going there and it just was a very special experience to be with him the first time he entered into the house of the Lord. The temple has such a beautiful spirit and they truly help light the world with the spirit of christ.

On Monday the 11th we did a service project in Egg Harbor Township, and it took five ever!! Like so long! But it was also veterans day and even though it’s late I wanted to thank all of the veterans that have served or are currently servimg for the Land of the Free. I love and appreciate you all!

Last Tuesday, we had Exchanges with the Atlantic City Elders! Elder Schmidt and I were together, and Elder Anderson was with Elders Macrum and Nelson! We had so much fun and both had very successful days spreading the message that Jesus Christ lives.

Today, we went to Cape May for Elder Nelson’s first time! It was a blast! I really have enjoyed having him as an extra companion! He got his Visa recently and so he will be heading to Portugal sometime within the next month!!

These last two weeks have not been easy. I definitely have had my fair share of trials and struggles but I have done better than ever before in my life. I love reading the scriptures and learning about prophets and even more, I love seeing how each on of these prophets share such a unique and meaningful message about Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ lives. I know that God prepared him to be the way so that each of us could choose salvation. I encourage you all to choose salvation and to take Christ’s hand that he has extended. I love you all so much and miss you dearly. But there’s no place I’d rather be. I know this is where the Lord needs me.
